I was born to Leonard Calvin Hemphill and Virginia May (Stump) Hemphill on 01/10/ 1954 in Springfield Missouri. I graduated from Willard High School in 1972. I moved to Sugar Land Texas in 1975 where I currently reside. I began working for Halliburton in 1978 and have been with Halliburton for 37 years.

My son's mother-in-law got me hooked on ancestry.com and findagrave.com. Since then I have been searching and cleaning up missing connections to both my family and my wife's family. My father-in-law who is 84 years old has been wealth of information since his mother's family history is documented in a family bible that appears to date back to 1820 (first birth entry). He is not sure if the bible belonged to his great or great great grandparents.
