Bio

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas to John Donald Ewing and his wife Martha R. Jackson Ewing. I attended the Alamo Heights Schools and then graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. I taught Elementary Education in several school districts and retired from the Floresville, Texas school district. I have been and still am actively engaged in genealogy for over 40 years. I married my high school sweetheart in 1966 and have been married for 49 years this August, (2015). I enjoy my genealogy, four grandchildren and flower gardening. I am a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and have traced not only my parents sides but my husband's parents side of the family as well. Some sides I have managed to go back to the 1400's and am still working to further the remaining sides. I am an active member on Ancestry.com and thus linked up with Find A Grave. I am going to begin some intensive picture taking, of small hidden cemeteries in our area that are not on any well traveled road,as time and weather permit.
