Civil War Soldiers
Thanks Sandy, You did what you could, and I appreciate this. I turn in many soldier graves that are not photo documented. And since I have just finished my census of Anderson Co. there are many of them still in my photo request bin for Anderson Co. I think we will end up with the most complete list of CW soldier burials for Anderson Co. I used multiple sources and cross reference, but maybe he is just not there Maybe I will visit this cemetery with my folding reflector and throw some light on those older stones, but getting him registered might eventually get him on a list for a marker from the VA. Thanks

Civil War Soldier
Sandy, as the project I am working on for the Civil War grave registry at ETHC is huge, I need you to remind me which soldier you went looking for. You put a lot of effort into this and I want to make sure I get the information you have given me correctly assigned. Even knowing the garve is unmarked is important because eventually it may help us secure a stone for this soldier. Thanks. You went well beyond what most people are willing to do.

RE: Larry Dyke
Hi Sandy, Yes I will transfer your Dad's memorial to you. I hope you keep at least some of the Bio I wrote about him as it was one of the most moving graveside services I have ever attended. Your Dad was a good man and served our County with honor! I didn't see your message until another member contacted me. There are times I am not on Find A Grave often so if you need help with anything, send me an email at

RE: Jewell Sharp Dyke
Hi, I was honored to be able to make a memorial for such a gracious lady. I traced down the problem. The memorial manager for the sibling of your mamaw had the wrong number for her father. There are two with same name, same birthdate. She listed the wrong one. I sent an edit and it should get changed. As soon as it does I will be placing her in your care. She's your mamaw and you should have her. Thanks again. Jane
