RE: Leroy O Gossett
Good morning! I am not related to the Gossetts. I just completed an update to a cemetery survey in Graniteville, SC. While I was completing that and taking pictures, I added records to this site so that they would be accessible for family members. I tried to research everyone I added and put all of the information on each memorial accordingly. His information came from census records and others (I don't remember all of the top of my head. I did have links to the sources, but I was forced to remove them because Find A Grave does not allow outside links on their sites. Silly rule, but I had to comply...although it looks like I accidentally left a couple for the 1850 and 1860 census, so you can click and see the records there. I'm not going to delete them unless someone complains again.)

I'm glad that the research has helped you, and I would be more than happy to transfer his memorial, along with any others you see that I have, to you. Please just let me know which ones you would like to manage, and I will complete the transfer process. :) Thanks! :)

Ownership
I am not related, if you are related and would like me to transfer, please follow the steps below:

Note: You will need a Find A Grave ID# to accept the transfer, if you do not have one sign up to be a Find A Grave contributor.
Once you have a Id# perform the following steps.

1. Go to the memorial you want transferred.

2. Go to the Edit tab.

3. Go to suggest a correction tab.

4. State that you want ownership of the memorial.

Note: Find A Grave will automatically send me an e-mail with all the Id#'s.

Hope this is helpful

Jimmy

RE: Earl Long
Thanks again! Beautiful photos and great description. I did email Danielle and asked her to make the notes in the bio and to change the cemetery album. I wonder if he had a marker at the Holy Cross Episcopal Memorial Garden?

RE: Earl Long
Hi again! Did you post of photo? I got an email that you did, but I don't see it. I will try to get a hold of Danielle and ask her to change the cemetery and note the changes in the bio. Thanks!

RE: Earl Long
Hi! I'm not sure why I got the email, but I do not maintain Earl's memorial so I can't make the changes. His half brother was my grandma's uncle and I have done extensive research on his family. The funeral home never got back with me about the place of disposition for his brother Ernest. What did you take pictures of at the church? I sure would like the pictures! If this is where he is interred, I don't see why you can't post the pictures. Thanks so much for your great work!

Hi Thank you for trying to take a pic of my Grandmother McEwen & Bailey/Looney Marker. I call the cemetery but the office is closed. I will call on Mon.

I known when you drive in at the corner brick gate the marker is on the left near a white bench & a tall pine tree. ( I have not been there since 2000)

thanks again

I'm sorry you had to deal with that for me. I appreciate your efforts. It's not the first time I've heard that and it always confuses me but.....

Thanks again for trying!!
