RE: Photo of Walter Blakemore's Headstone
I am sorry i was unable to get your ancestors' headstone picture in January. The cemetery off gave me the plot location, i went and found it was the plot of his father..i completed my other searches and went home, intending to come back later in the week. Well, it snowed heavily the following week making grave locating challenging. i have left town for 6 months. Please resubmit your research request and have another volunteer visit the cemetery. thank you, K

Re: Olivia Smith at Valhalla Cemetery
Hi Dean,

My friend (USC Girl) and I have searched the entirety of Valhalla Cemetery 4 times and have not found Olivia Smith. Would you please call the office and verify she has a headstone and the exact location of her burial? Without this information she may never be found. This is a very poorly maintained cemetery. I had to have a headstone for another requester dug out from under 3" of grass a few days ago.

If she does not have a headstone, but you would like a picture of the area and gps coordinates I'm happy to do that for you.

Warmly,
Sabrina Segall

Pearl Francis Potts Pack
Hi,
You put in a request for pics of Pearl Pack's grave. She is buried next to her husband Jessie. Could you do me a favor and put in a request for pics of his grave too? Since they are next to each other I can clean both of them up and get good pictures of both of their graves.

RE: Headstone photo of Lawrence Henry Allen
Your response made me curious, so I looked and found there are 6 "Allans" buried in this plot. I returned to the cemetery this morning to look again. I discovered Marshall Henry Allan (1857-1923) and his wife Ellen Francella Chase Allan (1859-1902) are buried there, along with some of their children including; Laurence Henry Allan (1883-1932), Howard Marshall Allan (1894-1923), and Baby Allan (23 Jan 1889 - 10 Feb 1889). Laurence Allan's wife, June Imogene Pack Allan (1884-1972) is also buried beside him. I also discovered a "master" headstone that I missed before. It's in pretty bad shape, but I took additional pictures and posted them to Laurence's memorial, and also to the memorials for his parents and siblings that I was able to find. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one for Baby Allan but I do have a nice picture of his headstone if you want it. Thanks for keeping me on my toes.
