I love learning more about my family stories with my husband! While we are putting together the puzzle pieces of our history, we are happy to take a moment and see if we have a piece for you!|

I will email you! Will fun to be in touch with a new cousin!
Thomas graduated from the College of Idaho. I believe my grandmother noted this on the picture I posted. I may have further pics and will take a look next time I go to moms.

Hi Donald - My gg grandparents were Hiram & Missouria Frances Buster Anspauch - they were yours as well. I have a descendant chart with your baby sisters' names, but did not have you listed as a sibling. I would love to connect with you. I host a FB page where I post birthdays, anniversaries, & death dates of our family members. I'd love to have you join us. It's a secret group, so you probably won't be able to find it on FB. If, however, you find me, I can add you to our page. Just look for me - Judy Bryson - & make a friend request. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

You requested a picture of Matilda Shannon's headstone from the Elizabeth cemetery in Morgan County, Tennessee. I took that picture. You asked if there was another marker for Houk Shannon.
We were in Tennessee in November and I went back to the Elizabeth cemetery. I found Matilda Shannon's headstone again and specifically looked for Houk Shannon's headstone, but did not see one. So sorry!

I added a picture of Thomas on the memorial (#15362536) and noticed you left flowers and are related too! Just thought you might like to see the picture. Sorry the names is on there- grandmother and her cousin did all of this to many family photos, so I guess it adds some personality!
Would love to learn about your side of the Evans, if you would like to share! My line is through the sister of Thomas, named Sarah. She married in tot he Stockham family, as did Ara Dora, another sister of Thomas.
Cheers from Edmonds, WA!

I was glad I was able to find and post a picture of Matilda's headstone.
I took other pictures along the way that day, but do not have a picture of Houk Shannon's Tennessee marker in my folder of pictures.
I do not live in Tennessee, but in Ohio. We go to Tennessee regularly though and I'll be glad to go back and look for his headstone when I'm there.
I'm unsure how to request a photo of a marker if the person is not buried in that cemetery, unless you create a profile for him at that cemetery and then request a photo. (If that makes sense.)
Again, I'm happy to go back and walk around the cemetery and look. I won't forget since I enjoy doing that...and dragging my husband along. I
