Jobe Chiasson
I would be happy to transfer management of this memorial to you. And any other of your family. Just let me know.

Jobe Chiasson
I believe that that Jobe Chiasson's tombstone is on the far East side of the cemetery. That is the side opposite from the parking lot and main gate. That area is NOT neatly divided by rows of sidewalks like so much of the rest of the cemetery. That area was hard to take pictures in because the rows are very irregular and it was hard to walk between them. I can see from the picture that it wasn't all the way to the line of trees so it was a little distance forward from that edge of the cemetery. The tombstone is a high tombstone and those are hard to take pictures of because I am a short person. That may also be why it was hard for you to locate. The tombstone inscription is facing west because that was the year that I took pictures of all the tombstones facing west. You see, I don't actually live in that area but I go home once a year to visit my family and I stopped and took pictures of all west facing tombstones one year and then the next year I took pictures of the east facing tombstones. My husband has lots of family buried in that cemetery and we wanted to put it online. We have had trouble locating family graves there also and I didn't see any evident of plot numbers so I don't think that a plot number would be much help.

I hope this helps.

RE: Grave location for Chiasson
You will have to tell me the complete name and number of the memorial so I can look it up and perhaps remember. I am not kin to Chiasson. My husband has relatives buried in the Charencro Cemetery (I presume that is the cemetery you mean) and I decided to take pictures of the entire cemetery to put on Find a Grave.
