RE: Harvey Parker
In Hartford, a Harvery Parker 1869-1929. Is that who you are looking for? If so, I'll get in contact with the guy who usually photo's out there. No one has a photo of his stone. But that may also be that he does not have a stone as FH Gen Soc has already photo'd Hartford. But if that is he, at least you know where he is buried. Cheryl Henry

RE: Harvey Parker
Hey, I looked at Cottonwood and Grandview. He is not in either cemetery. Do you know where he lived in Lyon county? That might help determine which cemetery he would go to. Cheryl

Harvey Parker
You can find the Flint Hills Gen. Soc by going to, then hit websites, then USA, then Kansas, then drop down and pick up FHGS (they are the third one down. After clicking on them, click on cemeteries. You can go through all the cemeteries in Lyon County (there are 52). There are two fairly close to Haworth--the first I just drew a blank the other one is Cottonwood (or Friends). I think the first one is Grandview. I know that those two are fairly close to Haworth. If I can be of any other help, just let me know. Cheryl

Harvey Parker
Are you sure that Harvey is buried I Haworth. I went through the list from FH Gen Soc which was updated in 2011, but there is no Harvey Parker. I looked at all the male Parker's, but none of the dates were right--sometimes people use nicknames so I checked all the male Parkers in Haworth. Do you have any other ideas? I can go out to see if I can find one, but FHGS has taken pics in both 1989 and 2011 of all the graves in Haworth, unless you just placed a stone in the last four years for him--I have noticed that some families have added early stones for family who did not have the means at the time. If this is the case, just let me know. Thanks Cheryl Henry

RE: Ethel Elizabeth Parker Tefft
Hi - you asked about the source for Ethel's picture. It was from me and yes I am a relative. Tell me more if you are working on a Parker line from Kansas. Odd thing: There is another unrelated Parker family in the same cemetery as Ethel. I worked with a guy named Parker and we got to comparing notes and discoveed he is related to the other Parker family.
