|Student/grandaughter of VietVet||School Project|
Dear Mr. Moore,
My name is Kay Loudon and I am a student at Greenbrier High School in Greenbrier, AR. My English calss is beginning a project memorializing soldiers whose names are on the Vietnam Memorial Wall. We are commemorating lost soldiers and I received CPL Riley Charles O'Neil's name.
Through my research I found your name on www.virtualwall.org and from there, I got here. I was wondering if you would be willing to share any memories, experiences, or photos you have with Mr. O'Neil that I can include in my memorial to make my tribute more personal.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact my teacher, Jeremy Kennedy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
P.s. -If you know anyone else with more information or you are not Mr. Moore but are reading this and have something to share about him, that would be much appreciated.
Thank you very much for your time.

I think Darrell was killed there, too. Another set of brothers killed there were Benny Herrick and his brother. Benny was a year behind us.
Betty Quigley was a school teacher, her principal there was Dennis Lambert. Mike Duncan's 1st wife was electrocuted in their back yard in 1969, 8 months pregnant, with 2 little girls, 2 and 3, I think. Don't know what happened to him after that.
The baby was taken quickly and lived for a bit, but died and was buried in his mother's arms. Michael Duncan, Jr.
Susan Martin is a registered nurse. She lives in Alabama.
Trudy Williams married Tom Meyers. Are you in K.C.? He was a KCPD and was hit and killed by a car on I29 while helping another driver. Icy roads. I see that there is a road named for him where the police station is on Barry Road. Thomas Meyers Blvd. or parkway or something. They were young. She never remarried. Has a son and daughter. The daughter was expecting at the time.
Brian Whiteside moved a couple of years ago to Phoenix. Divorced twice now.
Judy Poindexter is a realtor, married at least twice.
Judy Baker died a few years ago. She was an alcoholic and killed her liver. Her husband was killed and she just went beserk after that. They had a daughter but she was in the Army, I think. Not with her. They are in the National cemetery in Ft. Leavenworth. He was Richard Turner, if you knew him. He found out after graduation that he'd never been adopted by his step-father, so after all the years of school, etc., he wasn't a Turner afterall, but a Dutton.
Of course you know Rusty Williams died before graduation, and Jimmy Newman killed himself in Jr. high. He was their only child.
John Boustead's dad married my sister. His son is a composer in New York.
Can't think of anyone else.

didn't we know him as Dennis? Didn't he have a brother, Darrell, who also was killed in Vietnam?
Or, who did we know as Dennis, but his first name was Michael?

Hello! I was wondering how you know my Great Aunt Veronica Fox. I saw you left some flowers on her memorial here. Would enjoy hearing your memories of her. Thanks! Michele

Today when I was at White Chapel Cemetery filling photo requests for Find A Grave I noticed Riley O'Neil's grave marker and took a photo of it. I often take photos of veteran's grave markers and post them if there isn't already one there. In this case you had already posted a photo. It was obviously a rainy day when you took the photo in 2006 and I just wanted to offer to post the "dry" one from today if you would like to have it. I won't do that without your permission. Please let me know if you would like for me to do that or not.
