You are welcome. Glad I could help.
|Edward Gillingham||Fred and Bonnie Barker|
Not sure whether or not I gave you some info. Fred Barker (my uncle) he was the son of Andrew Jackson Barker and Nancy Mae Wilson. They had one son Marvin who passed away. I barely remember Uncle Fred, but have many fond memories of Aunt Bonnie and Marvin. We lived right across the road from them and just up the hill. They are both buried in the A. Jack Barker Cemetery which was located on my grandfathers farm and between our houses and his. I was up there on 7 Jan 17 and drove by their old house. It is still standing and I have no idea who owns it now. Our old house is gone and is my grandfather's place. Their warm house is still across the road and in the hill even though it has a tree growing up through it. If you would like any information please let me know. Marvin had three kids, one lives in the Frankfort area, on in Louisville area and one out in CA. Ed
So sorry, but had a power failure and the wrong report went in on Soloman's site. I will get the photo for you when the rains quits. I am shutting down my computer now.

We are the very essence of "shirt-tail relation". Oliver was married to Emma Mahaffey who is the granddaughter of Joanna Alford and William Mahaffey. Joanna was first married to Thomas Baker who died fighting the Mexican-American War. Joanna and Thomas were my 3rd great grandparents. I found the photo on Ancestry, I do not have the original in my file. I love hearing from others working on family history. Sorry I was so slow in answering.

Hi! I just added the numbers for Earl's parents to his memorial. What about Finley, is there a Find A Grave page for him? I have a picture of Finley and Sarah's grave I can send you.
Also, I havent found mallie and Earl's marriage date yet but still looking. All I know now is its probably from 1945 to 1949, but you probably knew that.

Denise - you are absolutely correct! I sincerely appreciate you bringing this matter to my attention. When the management of this memorial was transferred to me, I didn't check for accuracy. Her death cert does include the names you mentioned, AND that's how they are documented in my tree.
Again, thank you very much for setting the record straight.
P.S. How do you relate to this couple?
