Re: Loretta & Elton Bernard in Roselawn, Baton Rouge, LA
These are distant cousins of mine. I was wondering if you are related since they showed up on Find A Grave so quick. In any case, thank you.

Mrs Smith,
Thank you for contributing the photo of George Washington Shearin 1811-1903.
This is my husband's distant lineage. I have removed the damage to this portrait and would like to send it to you. I will not be posting it outside my own family tree and, of course, you retain credit for all photographic sourcing on it.
Thank you so much for sharing your efforts. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the obit! Glad you found it, too. It adds so much more to her memorial. I've got it posted. Let me know if something needs to be changed.

Blessings! Janie

Addington David Bruton (Esther "Easter" Young)

I was wondering if you were related to Addington David Bruton or his wife Esther "Easter" Young. I am related to her through my great grandmother Nancy Jane Young Grider. She was the daughter of Sampson (Sarah Branson)Young, brother of Esther.

RE: Thank You!
I'm so glad...due to the restrictions on the number of photos that may be added, I was only able to show the front of the marker. The back is also interesting. I have several photos of the grave if you want them. Chow!

Johnson Headstone
There is a picture of a headstone it says you added it. bottom says Johnson and has a list of people.
Freddie, Nellie, Francis William, Martha Corfe wife of Arthur J. Johnson and at the very bottom above Johnson and below Martha it has a name of what looks like Margaret Corfe b March 18, 1856. I am trying to find out what else it says there for her. If you could help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Addington Bruton
Addington is listed as born in S C whereas in 1850 census he is listed at born KY. Is there a source for that datum? I haven't found him in the 1860 census. Also one place you have him as dying in Cumberland KY and another as Cumberland Gap TN.

RE: George Bruton Sr.
Do you think that George Franklin has photographed Maj. George Bruton's grave?
If the inscription is gone from that stone, how old is that pic I wonder?
