|I have been researching my family history for about four years: Cook, Dooley, Davis, Lott - mostly in Haralson, Carroll and Chattooga County, Georgia. Find a grave has been very helpful to me for the short time I have been using it. Any photos posted may be copied for your own personal use. Glynelle 5/23/2014|

|LEE OSWALT||RE: 7 generations of ancesters|
Maudie Liddymae Swindle was my Grandmother and my father was Arvie Lee Oswalt, Sr.
Maudie's father was Soloman A. Swindle, unfortunately, I haven't followed the trail past that.
I just got into this after my Mama passed away in August of 2015 and have been busy building a house for Daddy since their house burned in June of 2015. Daddy passed away in August of 2016 and I have not felt much motivation since. I will begin again later.
I believe though that I remember Grandmama telling me that her father had been married more than once. However, that was a long time ago and I don't know how many times. I do know that she had half-siblings.
Thanks for jogging my memory and getting me started again. I will begin doing research again.

Thanks for your reply. I am actually trying to get my great uncle added to this memorial as a child of Joshua Leavell. His name was Fletcher John Leavell born 1894 died 1966. He is buried in Smyrna, Ga. at Riverview Memorial Garden Cemetery along with his wife Geneva. I live in Marietta and have been to the cemetery but was unable to locate his grave. There wasn't anyone in the office at that time or I would have asked them to help me. Thanks for any help you can provide.

My research shows her maiden name as Dooley. Born in Floyd County, GA to William Dooley & Sarah Elizabeth Hunt Dooley.
|Georgia Girl||Moses Asbury Pierce Hunt|
Thank you for letting me know where he is buried and have made the correction.
