RE: Re: Ira E. Carpenter
Thanks for your efforts today. I did send an edit to Find A Grave using the other field about a month ago to change from unknown to Crystal Lake. I'll try sending again.

RE: Civil War soldiers - colored troups
FYI-There is a Minnesota CW soldier buried at Crystal Lake that for some reason is a burial unknown and managed by Find A Grave. I sent them an edit about a month ago to place it in Crystal Lake but that hasn't happened yet. They did accept the edit for burial location if you want to see if any marker is there. I see that his wife has a photo of her market. Name: Ira Carpenter, #115816390

RE: Civil War soldiers - colored troups
I have not but just the other day I came across a listing of soldier burials on May 31 for a few years. Here is an example from 1898. There are a couple on the list from St Anthony and Hillside that I am trying to track down and there is always the chance there are errors, but something to work from. Check on page 5

RE: re: Arthur Vonrath edit
Olga Mildred Stam married William Karl Baldwin 9 Oct 1905 in Rice County, MN. They had two Children, Harold William and Lydia Marie. They divorced, date uncertain, but likely between 1910 and 1915. William Karl Baldwin then married Inger Olive Braaten 20 March 1918 in Faribault, MN. Olga married Arthur Vonrath 12 Nov 1917. Arthur died in 1925 and Olga and her children with Arthur, Edwin Leroy and Evelyn Clara, moved to Dundas, MN where Olga was a live in housekeeper for Paul Thielbar, a recently widowed man with two children. Olga and Paul married 19 Aug 1930. They had a daughter, Mona Pauline Thielbar in 1932. MOna died in 1949.

Olga Stam was my great great aunt. I have been researching the Stam lineage for quite some time and it is filled with stories like this one.
