|I am of Swedish ancestry and have been researching my Swedish ancestors and relatives almost every day since February 2004. I have 8 public family trees on ancestry.com. Six of my great grandparents lived in Chisago County, Minnesota, and the other 2 lived across the river in Grantsburg, Burnett County, Wisconsin. My family surnames include Olson, Johnson, Lind, Swanson, Swenson, Lif or Leaf, Gustafsson, Augustsdotter, and several other Swedish names too numerous to list here. My ancestors came from Gävleborgs län, Kalmar län, Kronobergs län, and Skaraborgs län in Sweden. I am willing to share my research with family members. If you are researching Swedes in or around these areas please feel free to contact me at my e-mail address.|

So glad I could help! It's always nice when the pieces to the puzzle fit!
|Kim S.||Axel Johnson|
Hi, I'm the volunteer who worked with the Dixon cemetery office to get Axel's name correct on the database a few weeks ago. I was taking a photo for a request and discovered there was NO Alex, but there was an Axel with the same data. I had them pull out the old original burial order and lo and behold it was Axel, not Alex, and there had been a typo. The cemetery has corrected its error and the manager of the old memorial, in changing the spelling of the name, discovered your new one. Speaking for Mark (Utley) I can say we are glad you have created this very nice memorial for Axel. I have transferred the photo of the marker to your memorial and now he will delete his original.
I'm also fascinated at your data on this memorial and your bio, since my great grandparents also came from Sweden, settled in Chisago City MN, dealt with settling on a "real American" surname, and married fellow immigrants.
Anyway, nice memorial. Photo added. Old memorial will be deleted, probably today.
Blessings and thanks,

Actually Herman is not part of my Fenner Family. When I saw your memorial I did a little research and discovered his ancestry. My Fenner family are English and came to RI in the 1640s. Welcome to FindaGrave!
