Norma, I have compiled a file of Find a Grave contributor Photos. I must say that I think yours is the most striking one of over 2300 that I have filed. You are a very pretty Lady. BOB
|D. Singleton Shell||Isaac and Hannah Herrin|
Thought I'd let you know there are duplicates of their memorials. Isaac Find A Grave 68725529 & 46830270, and Hannah Find A Grave 68725596 & 45830589. Of course the lower number is the first one, in a cemetery with gravestones. I saw your name on the wrong one, mine was there too, but I've deleted it. I sent an edit to the lady in CA about it. :) Darla

Thanks, for responding, when I saw your maiden name was Herron I got excited that you might be close kin. Lorenzo's father is Solomon and his father is Thomas and they both lived in Monroe county, Alabama. Solomon moved to Oklahoma by 1887. He has several brothers and sisters that moved to Oklahoma and Texas. So perhaps we might kinfolks somewhere along the line. Good luck with your search!

He is also my wife's ancestor. I found this listed him being in the Company C, 43rd Alabama Infantry. http://files.usgwarchives.net/al/greene/military/civilwar/rosters/companyc136nmt.txt

I was glancing over your find a grave messages and noticed you were asking about Jonathon Herron. I have some census records on Jonathon Herron that was married to Margaret Hood. I have been researching the Hood's for around 4 years now and found they tie in with the Herrons. If I can help let me know.
