Glad you found your grandfather's grave. No I am not related. I just happened to photograph his burial location in Woodlawn. Not exactly sure why except that I pick up photo requests sent in by other Find a Grave members for Woodlawn and will often photograph adjacent graves/headstones while I am there. There are about 55000 burials in Woodlawn and only a fraction have been photographed.
Woodlawn has an excellent database and it is possible to find a grave location even if there is no marker (which is why I know I photographed your grandfather's grave). However, nothing beats a headstone so good on you and your sister if you have one put up for your grandfather.
ps Just to let you know that there is another person buried in the same plot as your grandfather, also without a marker. Maybe this name means something to you too:
