Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired high school teacher of 29 years in the Warren County, KY school system. I have lived in Warren County all my life. I still live in the same Goshen district that my father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather lived (Roy E. Lee, Roy C. Lee, Burl Lee, and Samuel T Lee). My mother grew up in the Riverside area of Warren County. I am related to the Eadens, Lamastus, Maxey, Milam, and Morgan families in the Richardsville, Riverside, and Green Castle areas of Warren County, KY. Since my father and mother recently died, I have decided to record at Ancestry.com my genealogical data for my children and future grandchildren. I am also updating at Find A Grave all the gravesite information I have for both sides of the family.

If you are on facebook check out The Friends of Warren County Cemeteries. They would like to have cemeteries of Warren County inventoried. William

RE: Memorial Transfers
Kenny, I volunteer at the Kentucky Museum Library and am in the process of documenting Warren County graveyards with photographs. Do you have digital copies of Pleasant Hill gravestones? I would like to document this graveyard and it would be a real help if photos were already taken. Thanks William Sledge

RE: Martha Ann Lee Bratton
Kenney, sorry for the delay of almost 6 months. Your message must have been over looked. My husband Don is related to two Lee lines in Warren & Butler; Henry & Barnett Lee. We will be visiting with some of his Satterfield cousin in Bowling Green in June. His cousin, Larry is working on the Bratton Cemetery, hopefully I'll be able to take pics. Talking about pictures, do you have any family pics you can email to me? Once again sorry for the delay. Judy F. Lee

Pleasant HIll
Hi Kenney
Thanks very much for the cemetery corrections. Would you believe I just changed those last night to Pleasant Hill. I was going by the memorial for Wood that Judy had already put on there and just figured I had it wrong. I just changed them back. I added the requests just now. Also thank you very much for fulfilling the Greathouse photo requests!! I hope you have a Merry Christmas!

RE: Henry & Elizabeth Grider
Dear Kenny,

Thanks so much for the photo of Elizabeth "Betsey" Smith Grinder's grave!! It looks to me as though there may be a mistake on the Find A Grave entry re Elizabeth's DOB. From the photo you took it looks like her grave stone indicates she was born on May 22nd, not May 2nd as listed.

Again, thanks!

Sincerely,

Lisa

RE: Henry & Elizabeth Grider
Dear Kenney,
Thanks so much for the links to the two sources for Pioneer Cemetery. In the Warren County list, as your said there is: 1. Infant son of H & R. C. Grider and 2. Infant daughter of same as 1. These appear to be the children of Jenry Grider, Jr. (born 1796, who married Rachel Covington). 3. This is Mrs. Elizabeth Grider (wife of Henry Grider, Sr., whose maiden name was Smith). 4. Elizabeth F. Grider is a daughter of Henry Grider, Sr.; 5 is Henry Grider, Sr., that you kindly took a photo of.; 6 is Henry Grider, Jr., son of Genry & Elizabeth Grider; 7. I'm not sure who Henry, Jr. is as there is no date of birth or death and Henry, Jr, son of Henry S. lived from 1796 to 1866, so he probably is not the son of Henry & Elizabeth Grider; 8. Mrs. J. H. Grider--she could be the wife of John Grider, a son of Henry & Elizabeth; 9 Mrs. Rachel C. Grider is Rachel Covington Grider, the wife of Henry, Jr. (the one that died in 1866); 10. I don't know who Sally Grider (born 1785) is.
If you would kindly post a photo of Elizabeth F. Grider's grave that would be appreciated. (Daughter of Henry & Elizabeth. Elizabeth F was born on 6/17/1787.
Do you know anything about Henry Sr.'s marker re the Revolutionary War tht says he was: "Serg VA Regt Revolutionary War", yet the write up on his Find A Grave site says he was a Captain in the Revolutionary War? Also, I looked on a site that listed Blue Lick soliders and didn't find his name, any idea of why?
Thank you for your interest and assistance!
Sincerely,
Lisa
