Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogical research for over 40 years and love the hunt! Thanks to all the contributors to Find a Grave who have helped me along the way. I have worked as a librarian and now volunteer at the Mesa FamilySearch Library as a librarian. We are scanning books and putting them online so others can be helped in their search for their ancestors. Gotta love this sometimes frustrating hobby!

RE: Rachel Rich
My research only went back to Rachel Rich, and I haven't been actively researching for several years. I'm descended through Rachel and Samuel Rich's daughter, Jane Rich.

I'm sure you read the memorial on Rachel's Find A Grave page: "Rachel had a child, Benjamin Trotter, before her marriage to Samuel Rich. Her grandson, William B. Trotter, wrote a paragraph of his family history and said Benjamin Trotter's parents were James and Rachel Trotter. So far, no proof of James Trotter, especially a marriage to Rachel, has been found. But, hope springs eternal!

So that is saying that Benjamin Trotter's father was James Trotter, but no proof about James had been found.

I'm afraid the best I can offer you is good wishes for luck in your research.

RE: Thank You

Happy to do it. Makes me feel a bit more "connected," somehow.

All the best,
