Mount Royal Cemetery Photo Request
Mount Royal Cemetery has 165 acres. The burial plot location must be supplied so a volunteer can go take the photo.

You can get this free information by filling the form here: and in the "Desired Service" field, select "Burial Location (free)" and enter the information.

If the Genealogy page was not helpful then email your request to

The cemetery will email you the location (3-10 working days).

Have the memorial updated with the plot number.

You will have made it possible for the photo to be taken.

I am going to go to Huntsville Cem as soon as I can and take a look at those stone if I can find them again LOL! I'll take a look at the pictures bef I go.

Then I will take another look at what names are on them. If need to will change the names but if the names are as we thought then I don't know. I see where you have the marriage for Benjamin & Laura but yet census look like her name is Laura on one and Lucy on another!????

RE: Mary E Wright
I will have to look up the sources you are referencing since you haven't really told me where you found them (other than the Daily Eagle & Census) Please stop sending edits, I will decline them.

If you would like write a short biography for her and you will sign your name (not Fantasticus) to it, I will post it.

Please direct any other comments to my e-mail address.

Mary E Wright
You have yet to provide a reliable citation for the additions you have requested. A alleged brother obituary with a surviving sister Mrs. M. E. Wright ... there are at least a dozen Mary E. Wrights at Flushing Cemetery. How about a death certificate? Birth or marriage?

I am not sure if you sent me a notice about Laura & Lucy Tilson or not. Anyway, when we did the stones we did as best we could getting the reading and it def looks like Lydia E Snodgrass w/o Benjamin as the one who was 1797-1848 and then Laura as 1807-1861. Now in 1850 census she shows with Benjamin as Lucy but in 1860 she shows as Laura so I really bel her name was Laura and they called her Lucy. I really can't say. But that is what we could get from info found and the stone reading we did.

You sent me a message with a link to some book but I can't see anything on that book without a sing on and since I don't have one I can't see it.

We have found that Laura & Lucy mar Benj Snodgrass. I am not home so I don't know where that came from prob a book in library or from a relative. Not sure.

So unless I could see that page in that book I really wouldn't know, when the book was written compared to what we have found etc...

[NOTE: Lot burial list from online cemetery records, with burial dates, which may represent reburials after removal from previous graves. This list may be incomplete. Contact the cemetery for more complete information about lots and occupants at

Also, since the photo isn't mine, complaints are probably better addressed to the uploader. I've found his work to be very detailed though.
