Bio and Links
I am glad to have discovered this site. I am (really) new to all of this so I am trying to read the FAQ for procedure and look through the forum when I can. This is such an important documentation project.

I am slowly adding details to the memorials that I manage remembering this is a marathon and not a sprint.

I am eternally grateful for the help that I have received. I plan on working on bios soon when I finish adding some important missing dates/locations/family connections/links as I discover them.

Again, thank you to the members that have collaborated and helped me to learn some of the ropes. I only hope to be be as respectful and honorable to the memorials in my care.

Please let me know if you have something to add or any suggestions.

I will gladly do transfers if I am not personally related more closely.

George W. Johnson
I did move my photo to your memorial. I think when I posted the photo originally all was well, but apparently it didn't end that way. I have written Find A Grave again explaining that these are not the same person, that information on one of them is in the process of being edited, and they should not be merged. Hopefully, when your edit is processed this knot will be untangled. You will need to edit the note on your memorial. I think I would leave that it is NOT a duplicate for the time being, but the picture part has been corrected. And, yes, the common names cause problems because they are so common and the unusual names cause problems because they get spelled a variety of ways.

George W. Johnsons Evergreen Cemetery
I am sorry if I have added to the confusion on the George Johnsons. I have the cemetery book for this cemetery which was created from both walking the cemetery and cemetery records. It lists two George Johnsons in marked graves and I have just sent edits adding burial locations and linking them to their spouses. That leaves as with a G. G. Johnson shown as buried in Section 12 Lot 84 in an unmarked grave. He was buried in 1932. It appears that you have sent an edit for Memorial 76910653 which currently has my photo on it. Could I ask how you asked to have this one edited? I'm guessing that this one is the G. G. Johnson who died in 1932. Then there is the memorial that you created for your George W. Johnson. Your George is buried in Section 5. That is definitely where the photo was taken. He is buried with (or at least has an identical stone to) Norma Mae Cormany (1875-1936) and Sarah J. Campbell (1846-1932).
