I have been interested in my family history for a number of years now and I have found it a great pleasure finding my ancestors and learning about their past lives. Today (27th September, 2013), I discovered this wonderful website and I have entered just a few family members. I will most certainly add more in the future, as I have found it an honor remembering all these family members who have lived (some long lives and some sadly short), and who have now been remembered here. Also, I have added some friends who I wanted to commemorate and keep their memory alive forever.*|
Today, (14th June, 2014), I have decided to add random graves which have caught my eye. I now feel these graves should be recorded for future family generations/historians. I must also add: these 'random' graves, and the people who they contain, are of 'no relation to me'. I purely have an interest in the recording of burials, which I feel will be of much interest to future family historians. This is a thankless task, but one of which I thoroughly enjoy.
I have added one person, Sir Eric Eastwood, who was a British scientist and engineer who helped develop radar technology during World War II.
Please do ask for copies of any pictures I've added here. All requests welcome.
May all the people remembered here rest in eternal peace.
*I have acknowledged family history connections/links to myself where possible.

|MumTheBest||SALISBURY burial plot|
Thank you for locating the burial plot for William Henry SALISBURY for me and taking a photograph.
Pity there wasn't a headstone!
Thank you once again. I really appreciate your help.
|Halfpenny||George Hughes - Slough|
I have today added two photos for George, I have another one for a Spencer Hammond Hughes and his wife Margaret Hughes in the same row. I don't know if they are from your friends family, Hughes is not an unusual name, but as they were so close I thought I would check! Please let me know if you would like this photo too. My email is email@example.com

Hi Peter - Henry's son was known as Peter, but was in fact Kenneth Peter Whitehead. I had hoped that you may have been related to him.
We lost contact with that branch of the family back in the 70's/80's.
The above Henry was at one time the Chief Medical Officer for I think Oldham.
Thanks for the reply Allan Campbell- I'll keep looking !!

Peter - Were your Grandparents Dr. Henry Whitehead and Mary Jane Scott formerly Morris 1885-1966. If so I am a cousin of yours by Mary's sister Annie Campbell nee Morris.
Please advise Allan Campbell

Hi, You asked if anyone knew Hannah's maiden name. She was called Walker before she married Samuel.

Will do . Happy to help .
|Whispyblink||RE: Farminer Grave & Photos|
I searched and could not find a grave for the other 2 Farminers - Geoffrey and Eileen . They died in the same year . 1969 . Possibly together ?
However on the Farminer grave that I posted there is a Granite marker for 2 more members of the Farminer family who died AFTER Geoffrey and Eileen .
One in 1972 and one in 1985.
So is it not likely that Geoffrey and Eileen are in that grave too - and that their marker has been removed / lost ?
