I have been doing genealogy for as long as I can remember. My parents, grandparents and great grandparents all kept great records. They researched back before the days of computers, back when they had to travel to find their information. I feel it has morphed into my genes.

The graves that I maintain belong to my direct family members and some of their families. I will be happy to share.

RE: Hackemuller
When I do a search on Hackemuller a Mary Dubos comes up. See:[WWW_NOPL]NoRecord.htm
Her daughter perhaps? Maybe buried with her daughter? I've written the contributor but no reply yet. Do not have access to all the papers for obits. Anthony, Jr says St Joseph but no marker there for him. Marie says St Joseph but Dubos is in Metairie.

RE: Many Thanks
It has never shown up on Ancestry before so maybe they have recently added it. I am the only tree there now with a death date for him. Thanks...

Many Thanks

Thank you for the info on Anthony Hackemuller. I have never been able to find a death date for him. Would you mind telling me the source of your information? Do you know where he is buried?

Again, thanks,
Robert Wacaser

Thanks for letting me know where they're buried. I've deleted my two memorials and requested that they be connected to their daughter Wilhelmina with the original memorials.

RE: John Simpson Clower
Thank you so much, Orza, for finding this memorial. It must be the final resting place for my 2nd great grandfather. This information was lost for so long.

Wise Family
Orza, I haven't been able to find out if we will have a reunion as planed this year. If you want or need tombstone photos or locations of burial, I have a lot of those here at home. I planned the cemetery tours for our reunion 2 years ago and I have all of that information available. I will be glad to work on any of it for you. But, I will need time to get my computer up and running. How far away do you live from Minden, Webster Parish, Louisiana 71055?

Wise Family
Orza, I just got a small computer from one of my Florida Cousins today. I will have to get someone to help me switch over before I can help others again. -- Tell me again what you are looking for on the Wise family. I have done extensive research on our Wise family. I go back to James & Jesse Wise. James and his wife Parmelia are buried on a farm in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. We can not get access to their grave site now. So, we as a family purchased a large tombstone with information where they are buried and all of their children's names and date of birth. It was placed in Colquitt Cemetery which is near their orgianl burial site. -- James is buried in Cotton Valley along with one of his young sons. We believe that James & Jessie are probably brothers or close cousins. Jessie has more than one wife who is buried in Union Springs Cemetery in Webster Parish, Louisiana. -- My husband's grandmother, Alice Bell Wise is our conection.
