Bio Photo Been studying the family tree for some time, but never seriously. Started to get more involved a couple years ago and enjoying the process. Currently, I am researching Jones, Beasley, Brown, Witmer, Trammel, Sherow, Larson, and Rice primarily.

Here's the link:

I think it costs $5.99/month. I did a preliminary search for her and only found a transfer of land deed. I'll keep looking.

Wrote this in memory of recently found ancestors....always grateful Aaron, Thanks again

A small secluded graveyard
In a sleepy little town,
Though here for over a hundred years
Again, recently has been found.

Nestled in amongest the trees
A family lived here long ago,
Buried loved ones here beneath the shade
From the young to the very old.

Infants only a few days old
And children very young,
Folks who had raised their families
Rest here after their race was run.

For those who come to pay respect
Thank you for stopping by,
To visit here reminds us
The importance of family ties.

.Dorothy Cochran 2017
Dedicated to all those ancestors who have gone on before us

RE: Elizabeth B Rice
Hi Aaron,

I went with a group and searched print outs of their database to add memorials for the unmarked graves. You can actually search those same records online at Because of the age of the cemetery and at one point I think it changed hands, their records from that time frame aren't without the occasional error.

I just did the online search and saw two Elizabeth Rices listed. Both in Section E-1, Lot 10. One says no marker and one says middle name Baldwin with a marker. Neither says Berry.

No, I am not related to the Sherows. I grew up in Hutchinson and I enjoy using the Hutchinson News archives online to link the families of Hutchinson and Reno county. I just happened upon Ellen's obituary, which was interesting, then I searched for Noah's and it was even more interesting! Feel free to share!

Last fall, winter, and this spring I read the old Oakhill cemetery and the ones like hers I went back and used shaving cream to read. A major project but worth it. I'm glad I could be helpful.

Harbison Cemetery
Just wanted to thank you again for listing this cemetery and to let you know its looking good after a pretty extensive clean up over last weekend. Seven other graves were found and I have, I think, found names for 5 of them. Epps Jackson Dudley (his parents are buried here as well) his 2nd wife, Saphrona, and Epps' son Dillard's three infants. Will continue the search for the others......Thanks again.... Dorothy
