I grew up in Burton, Ohio and have lived in the area most of my life. I started looking for my "roots" six years ago. I have ancestors that immigrated from Sweden, Germany, and England. I am willing to assist others by being a photo volunteer.

Hi Barb,
I saw you were kind enough to have taken the photo of Hattie and John's grave (Memorial #53599885). May I ask if you are related? She was the sister of my 2xggrandmother.

Thank you for the information. Do you know when and where they were married?
My wife's family, last name Butler, lived in Kingsville and Ashtabula from the 1870s.

Thank you! (for any photos). I am always very grateful to all who volunteer. I had to take a Hiatus. I didn't let myself heal enough after a surgery before I last went out to photo markers. Now I have to sit it out until we figure out what is wrong.:-(

I know all about the difficulty. I try to go two times. Once for the sunlight and then without to see which would be better for certain markers. Most markers facing North don't stand a chance if they are worn! It has paid off and through experiences, I have learned to look at all sides of the Obelisks and the backs of markers as you just never know if there is someone listed on the back. I have found whole family's that way!

Very Gratefully yours!
