Sorry to report that William is probably in an unmarked grave. I searched the plot area and there are only two marked graves there - Nellie Leiby, d. 1917 and her son Earl, d. 1920.
A lot of the burials in Sec. 4 were poor people and are unmarked. If they just came in from Ireland they probably did not have money for a marker. Did his sisters settle in Akron? Or go elsewhere?
If you have any additional info about William I would love to enhance his memorial. Please send whatever you have.

No, sorry. Her husband James was a brother of my ancestor Andrew. I have not researched these lines in years, having spend my research time and efforts on my mothers family lines

You're welcome, Phyllis. There's been a lot of research done by Boulder Genealogical Society on folks buried in our old Columbia Cemetery. You can get to it two ways: the Boulder Genealogical Society website (bouldergenealogy.org) or the City of Boulder Parks & Recreation department (https://bouldercolorado.gov/parks-rec/columbia-cemetery). Both Lucy and Caroline have a page. Maybe you already know this, but if not, have fun exploring this stuff. Take care, Amy
