I have been doing genealogy research for 25 plus years. Spending many hours on the court house floors, and dragging my step daughter through cemeteries.

My focus is on the Robbins and Cassidy families which are primarily in Lawrence Co., Washington Co., Martin Co., Marion Co. Indiana and Wayne Co., Whitley Co., Jefferson Co., Kentucky.

Names of interest Cassidy/Casada, Hammond/Hammonds, Flynn, Correll, Mitchell, Robbins, Hodges, Thrall, Gholson, Strunk and their better half.

It appears that I'm an obituary collector as I have just over 2000 obituaries of my family.

RE: James Alfred Hodges and Elizabeth Jett Butler
Ok, yes, please check on that. I have a lead on another place they may be, near Frenchman's Knob. I will likely have to go back down to Hart County next Saturday to check it out. I will let you know what i find. Thanks.

James Alfred Hodges and Elizabeth Jett Butler
James Alfred Hodges (#118058305) and Elizabeth Jett Butler (118058360) are not located at Memory Park in Bonnieville. They are buried on the old Hodges farm, but I have not yet been able to find that graveyard. However, there is a list of people in their family who are buried there.
I went to Memory Park in Bonnieville on 6/30/2017, hoping to find them, but they were not there. I walked the entire cemetery. One of their sons is there, but not them.
I don't know the protocol for having someone listed at the wrong cemetery. The rest of their information is correct (although Butler is Elizabeth's maiden name; her married name was Hodges). Do you need to delete their pages, or do you want to transfer their memorials to me so that, when I find them, I can correct the cemetery information?
James and Elizabeth were my grandmother's grandparents, so I would actually be very glad if you would transfer their memorials to me.
Although I could not find their graves when I was there, I will not give up! Thank you. Ellen White

RE: Hattie L. MItchell
Great - If you have a Face book page or email address, I'll send you a link to it. It's about the women who were policewomen here in Indianapolis between 1943-45. They were pretty unique.

Hattie L. MItchell
I'm putting together a history of policewomen with the Indianapolis Police Dept. and was hoping you wouldn't mind if I used your photo of Hattie Mitchell from your Findagrave post. I don't have one of her. I can send you the power point presentation if you're interested. Patrick Pearsey

RE: Jemima Dodson
Sorry for the error. I must have gotten to two Jemima Dodson's mixed up. I have corrected my error. If you can supply any further info. I would be glad to add it to my memorial for Jemima Dodson.

RE: Ruth Imogene Byerly
Hi Jeannie, We posted the photos of Ruth Imogene's marker on her memorial page yesterday. No need to put the photo request in. We were happy to have been able to discover her while searching for another photo request.
Have a great day.

Ruth Byerly/Sylvan Abbey
Hi Jeannie,
We were doing some photo requests at Sylvan Abbey this morning and came across Ruth Imogene Byerly's marker in the Peacefield Mausoleum. We had an older request list that we were using - and her name was on that one, so we photographed her marker. When I went to check for the photo request on today's list, we noticed it wasn't there. We always keep names on the list - even if they are deleted. Hope this helps.
