You're welcome - glad to help. Sorry I couldn't get more of the transcription. It was too worn to read without doing some kind of restoration/cleaning, which I was not equipped nor authorized to do. The base piece seemed to be very legible, but the top half was leaning against it, and I couldn't move it enough.

What I could surmise from the rest of the inscription was that he was held in high esteem, and the bottom half seemed to be mostly a passage from the Book of Matthew.

The The Camden Archives and Museum has cemetery indexes for Kershaw County, and may have a record of the complete transcription.
