Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was trying to photograph the entire Wheelock Cemetery in Wheelock, Texas. However, we moved so that project will have to be picked up and completed by someone else. I will be looking around for a cemetery near me to start photographing. Hopefully, my photos will benefit someone else in their search for long-lost family.

RE: Mary E. Rowe headstone
Sorry,
They are all unmarked. I would call the office, they are nice.

Have you checked out the Archdiocese website?
Have you check out the St L Gen Society?
Have you check out the Main St Louis COUNTY library, they have a significant Catholic records from Parishes all over the City and County.

I have several of the links on my 'page'

Happy hunting

Stroman Family Cemetery (38-376)
The Stroman Family Cemetery (38-376) is at the corner of Norway Rd (Hwy-332) and Samuel Dr on the Southeast Corner.

It is on private land, but usually the owners have the cemetery unfenced and open to visitors. Please check in with the owners if they are around.

The Stroman Family Cemetery is located 40 feet east of OC-2231/Samuel Dr 200 feet south of SC-332/Norway Rd just west of the intersection of S-38-162/Willow Swamp Rd & SC-332/Norway Rd

Stroman kin
I read your post on the Stroman cemetery. I am originally from Charleston,SC but have lived in Houston for 9 years. My father is from Orangeburg SC. Hans Jacob Stroman (Straumann) was my 5th great-grandfather. I had no idea they moved to TX! Thank you for connecting the dots...I can now say I have TX "roots". :) Sincerely Emily

Thomas C. Vann # 115688890
First.. I admire and appreciate all your hard work. I just wanted to give you a little information. You have Thomas C. Vann's birth date as 1890... and looking at the stone I can see why, but it was 1896 according to his death certificate... the photo of Thomas C. Vann, 1919-1976 is his son, Thomas Carol Vann. b. 8-26-1919 d. 8-25-1976 in Pasadena, Harris Co., TX

Barrett, Ernest & Ana
Hi Kerry,
I looked them up on the online cemetery search here: http://www.tampagov.net/parks_search_webapp/DeceasedList.aspx
It shows that Ana and Ernest are buried in the same location.

I also have a map that was emailed to me by Melissa from the cemetery office. She is the one who told me this section was added on. Since I have a copy of the map I go to the cemetery with it and my ipad. If I can't find where I think someone should be buried based on the map, then I find the closest headstone and look up the name on the cemetery website. It gives me the location of that stone and lets me know where I'm at.

I try to post pictures even if there is not a headstone. This gives the requestor an idea what the area looks like and prevents someone else from requesting the picture again.

If you would like a copy of the map let me know and I'll email it to you. Hope this helps. :)
