RE: Hopewell Cemetery
Thank you for letting me know. I have several Millers listed and it was impossible to go through them all.

RE: Miller @ 103 years old
Thank you for the information but it does not have enough to associate it with a memorial. Try first and last names.

Chrissie, I have transferred this memorial to you. Good luck with your research.

RE: John Q. James Greenwood Cem.
Hi Chrissie,
I am not related to either the Burnette or James families. I am currently photographing the Ridgeview section at Greenwood. When I came across the headstone for John, I thought it would be best to create a memorial for him in Greenwood and reference it to your memorial in Woodside Cemetery. If you would like for me to transfer it to you, I would be happy to do so.

RE: Hopewell Cem Cohutta, GA.
all I can do is add the information in the biography- after I found them. You will have to contact the person that "manages" Howard's and Margaret's to add the parents there. I am related through the Wilsons, have a lot- including you, in my data. Would you be interested in it?

RE: Holt Cem.
Yes there are 2 Holt Cemeterys I went out and took all New Holts one day. Im not sure how to tell you to correct the other memorial some people will some wont. but I can tell you new Holt has the sign I was at the right one. LOL But I remember when you come in the Cemetery follow the fence and they are up against the fence. I can remember I could look up and see a school bus and a field if that helps or I can meet you if you cant find it.I hope this helps you.

RE: Margaret Kyle JOHNS
The Johns line intertwines with my Sweat and Thompson lines. I have looked closely at Richmond's brother's line before.

RE: Margaret Kyle JOHNS
Done a little research on Margaret this rainy morning.

Another research states her birth year as 1817. I found the family in the 1860, 1870 and 1880 census in Cobb, GA. Found Richmond's grave site of Find A Grave in a Presbyterian Cemetery. Also, found sons Daniel's and Doc's grave...Doc's name is Doctor Bailey Johns.

You may have already had this information, if not I hope it helps.

Welcome to Find A Grave
I want to welcome you to the website.

The purpose of Find A Grave is to record grave sites. That's one memorial for one grave. That complicates things when members attempt to record their genealogy and others have already record their great great aunt's grave site! That member wants to make a duplicated memorial or collect other's memorial because "it is my family". The transferring guidelines list which memorials must be transferred and all others are "gifts" from other members.

You have to have a grave site before a memorial is made and have 30 days to find a recent death's grave site.

The guidelines for the website are located on the left of any memorial under "help with Find A Grave". Please read when you have a chance and visit the discussion forum for more advice.

I know you are going to graving as the rest of have over the years.

Changed Margaret's birth year to 1818 based on the Federal Census of 1860 Cobb Co, GA which enumerated her as age 42. Richmond/RC Johns is head of household and also named as Richmond Johns of Cobb Co in Slave records.

R C Johns HOH age 46
Margaret Johns age 42
Daniel Johns age 23
Seaborn Johns age 19
Eddie Johns age 14
David Johns age 12
J D Johns age 9 (John D.)
Mary Johns age 6
Martha Johns age 5
Nancy Johns age 2

I have no idea where I got 1854.
