I recently began putting together my family tree from the records that my deceased mother compiled. I was asked by a lady, Audrey, on this site and ancestry.com to become involved with managing my family's sites. I became a photo volunteer because I've been going thru lots of cemeteries looking for my family, so I thought it would be fun looking for other people's family too. --- Please let me know if you find any errors on the info I have entered. I want to be as accurate as possible. Thanks! :))

I took the summer off, now I'm getting geared up to visit the cemeteries, upload photos and process updates/corrections.

Incorrect Relationship
Hi Janet,

On Phebe McCormick's Find A Grave Memorial# 119956035, you have Jacob George Washington Schoeck listed as Phebe's child. I think that is her spouse.

What do you think?

RE: Photo Quality
I had a camera a few years ago that seemed to do that. I tried adjusting the pixels, increasing them, and then the photos were too large for Find A Grave to accept. Then I figured out if I cropped the photos they would work. The past couple of years, I have just used my cell phone, and probably gotten better pictures from it than I ever did from a camera in the past. You may have a better camera than I had, though. See if you can find out what setting of pixels your camera is set for. The lower dots per inch, DPI, the poorer quality of picture you will have. The higher DPI, the better quality, but it uses up much more memory for a picture, and you may have to crop it for Find A Grave. Let me know if that solves it. If not, I'll try to figure something else out! Becky

Bennett photo
Thanks, Janet. Rosie died a little before my mom died. Dr. Bennett was really nice to my mom and dad. Becky
