Bio and Links
Bio Photo 40-year-old wife, mother of 3, and grandmother of 1. When I tell people I am a grave hunter, I get the most peculiar stares. Then I explain to them why it is that I hunt graves, and I get to watch the look on their face transform into one of relief. I love to do it, just as I love to index for genealogy websites. It helps people to connect with loved ones who have long since departed this earth. It helps to keep a part of them alive after death. If nothing else, it keeps them from disappearing altogether, as if they never existed in the first place. For me, these sites are a sort of place marker for those people so that some day someone can look back and say, "Yes, he/she really did exist."
