Bio Photo I have been working on my family genealogy since i was a teenager (back in the dinosaur days!). Love history and find cemeteries fascinating. My sons learned to add and subtract from headstones. They thought all families had picnics in graveyards!

Donna
My Elizabeth was born 1807 in Amelia Island, FL. She married twice. First Alexander Graham in 1829 and William Henry Fitts in abt 1840. She died abt 1893. I have not ever seen the Simms name connected with her or her family...that doesn't mean it's not, but I believe your Elizabeth is different from Ferdinand's daughter. If I come across anything else, I will contact you. Is the email listed above correct?

hi donna
i noticed your conversation on the other ladies page about the knowles family name.. i'm curious because i just found my grandfather who i've been searching for for 20 years thru this site and i don't know anything about that part of my family history.. and just now learned who his parents were and his dob, etc.. all i ever had was a name. and before now coulnd't find anything. anyways... if you are related to me.. and can help me put together my past so i can find out more about the knowles side of my family. i sure would appreciate a response.. my grandfather was Bethel Leroy Knowles, Sr.. Birth: Jul. 30, 1915 Death: Jun. 3, 1984 Son of William Knowles and Minnie Carter .. I am positive of this because Doris, his wife.. was my grandmother. and my father is Bethel Leroy Knowles, Jr.. who is still alive in Pensacola (as far as I'm aware. i haven't spoke to him in a while).
I'd like to leave you a phone number but this is a public forum.. so I'll leave you my email.. in hopes I hear from you soon.

Hello Donna. I do know the names of his children of which there were 14 and one was named Elizabeth. May I ask what this family means to you?
Thanks

RE: transfer please
Happy to transfer it. Will do it later today.

Do you mind telling me your line of descent? I am curious as I am cousins with many of her descendants.

So glad to be transferring this to someone who is a direct descendant

Jim
