|I just got started with Find A Grave after having been helped by a few contributors, and felt the need to reciprocate. Any grave markers or cemetery photo's I have taken can be used without permission.|
I've always been interested in genealogy and have been doing random genealogy research on my family for about 40 years on and off. My interest has periodically been renewed whenever a new tidbit of information presented itself.
It all started when I received a copy of a book written by a distant relative detailing early pioneer life in Virginia and the family's migration west to Minnesota just before the Civil War. The copy was presented to me by my Uncle George (now deceased) at a luncheon meeting that my brother and I had set up to visit with him. The book was a total surprise and he had carefully added about 5-6 hand written pages of additional detail and expanded the tree with additional family names. We had a great time with him and learned a great deal that we would have never known. By the way, this is the same uncle that got into trouble for teaching me to drive when I was 12 years old. The point is don't wait until it's to late to talk to the old-timers, besides it's fun.

Thanks for taken the tombstone photo's of Melvin & Leora Abrahamson. Do you have any problem with me using the photo's in my family research?

Dan! Thanks so much for your efforts & for your first volunteer photo! I really appreciate it.
I'm actually interested in the Weiland family, and it seems that C.T. is buried in the family plot of his wife's family... who I know nothing about. But thank you so much for your efforts! You are a great addition to Findagrave!

I will delete my memorials. Do you want to add Alice's parents?
