Janice Sorry I have been so long in getting back to you on your request on Adam Rosenbaum. My mother was a Rosenbaum & I have a family Rosenbaum book & that picture was posted in the book. These are the pictures in my book: John Rosenbaum(1802-1893):John Rosenbaum(1824-1906): Joseph Rosenbaum(1826-1902): Elizabeth Rosenbaum Copenhaver(1837-1876):Alfred Rosenbaum(1838-1909) & Mary Marsh(1850-1925);Eva Rosenbaum(1840-1914):Thomas Rosenbaum(1842-1924) & wife: Levenia Rosenbaum(1845-1878):Sue Rosenbaum(1847-1924) & Isaac Horn:Nannie Rosenbaum(1849-1914) & Lemuel Copenhaver(1851-1916):a picture of the old home for Adam Rosenbaum near Marion, smyth Co, Va & a picture of the site of Adam Rosenbaum home near Cripple Creek. These are the pictures in my book & some are posted to the memorials listed in find-a-grave but I will gladly send you copies of the pictures. I do not want any money to share these memories with a family member. Let me know if you would like copies of all or which ones & where to mail them or fax them (mail would probable be a better picture). Thanks & let me know. Pat

Looking at the photo enlarged you are correct the date is 1840. The stone cutter did not finish the 4 for the day nor the year. Thanks for catching that.

To travel to the Jones Farm Cemetery go about 2.6 miles along Fairview Road from US 29 Highway at Tightsqueeze. The cemetery is on the North (left) side of Fairview Road and is highly visible. If you see the Catawba Road junction you have gone a few feet too far. The 1983 quadrants are N36.79725 and W79.35475.
Regards, James B

My mistake on the date. You may view the tombstone to your hearts content on find a grave. I looked back through my files and found I had not uploaded the photos for this cemetery. Will finish later as it is supper time. Thanks for pointing it out to me.

A lot of the Barber's & Eanes run together thru the folks from the Callands-Chatham area. I will check in next few days to see if there is a hitch, Larry
