Bio and Links
I have been researching mine and my husband's family tree for a little over a year. For my side I am researching Pitzer, Adkins and Perry, Palmer surnames and all secondary branches for my family. For my husband's family I am researching Moster, Thomas, Keleher and Shaffer surnames. I am happy to help anyone who asks and I welcome questions to the memorials I write because it keeps me on my toes.

ADKINS
Thanks for the interest in the Adkins family picture. The man seated is John William Adkins and far left is his daughter, Maud Adkins Price. Directly behind Maud is her husband, Wiley Price. My uncle married their daughter and that is all I know about this picture. It was a birthday party for John and think it was No. 90 or 95. Just not sure.

RE: John Melvin Thomas
I checked with the cemetery office at Elysian, but they don't have a record of John Melvin's father.

John Melvin Thomas
Thank you for the information regarding John M. Thomas' father. His memorial does not show who his father was and I don't know who Apollo is/was.

BFT Adkins
Hi Jeanette
Thank you for the information! I am trying hard to get all the information correct! I have used online records as well as our family records. Our great-great grandmother Kizzie - is actually written in our family Bible as Kizia and Kissia - depending on who did the recording at that time.
Her birth dates match what we have in our home records. We do know that our grandmother Kizzie was named after her. Much of our family is buried at Bartram Cemetery - and my Grandmother used to talk about Benjamin Adkins dying in Delaware as a POW. I will continue researching as I don't want to get anything incorrect. Thank you so much!!!

Walter Pack Family
Hi Jeanette
Thank you for the info and sure enough she is not buried under her 2nd marriage name ... I notified the other person who has the site that her death record has a different last name. In a case like this it is crazy....

RE: Memorial 68473953
Hi, There is a caption on the image of Parker Adkins ' headstone that states the date of death on the headstone is Nov 21st. It is common to find dates not matching perfectly.
