Siefert vs. Seifert
I added a maiden for Ada Long (if my memory is correct) to match her mother's but noticed that the sister has a different spelling. Please advise on which spelling to use.

I am transferring your uncle to you. Memorials belong with family. I noticed a error in date that you will need to correct. Let the other contributor know about the duplicate and it can be deleted.

RE: Leroy W Thornbrugh
Hello, Dave -

The draft card was filled out by a clerk; only the signature at the bottom is in the applicant's handwriting (which in this case is Roy's initials).

I have been a Thornbrugh researcher for nearly 50 years - Roy's grandfather Thornbrugh and my great-grandfather Thornbrugh were brothers. I wrote to Roy several times and he provided me with the spelling of his name when he sent me information on his family.

I do know who Roy's parents were - they were not married, and the father's name has never been public knowledge. He used his mother's maiden name. She was Sarah Thornbrugh from Quenemo, Kansas. She died when Roy was 18.

Where is your connection? I have a question about Rubye Felder's first husband, Charles Braden, if you happen to have any information on them.

Looking forward to hearing from you again! My email address is

~ Chris

Lewis family in Ray County, Mussouri
Hello Tulsadave.

If you have more information about the Lewis family in Ray County, Missouri, please contact me.

Are you a descendant??? I am a descendant of Malinda Lewis Williams and George Adrial Williams. Maybe we can help each other "fill in a few blanks."

Feel free to email me at my email.

Dear tulsadave, Would it be alright if I copied the photo of Clara Retta Brady Ogle and put in my Family Tree. She is a distant relative of my husband. Thank you Joan Brady

Mabel Prather
Dave - We need to talk. I suspect you recognize Claude Porter Talbot, Jasper Newton Talbot, and Salathial Talbot. Salathial was by Ggrandfather. In a similar statement, I suspect you recognize Samual Prather and James Cowan Prather. Only this morning did I learn that Zola Lynne had died in Houston last year. Anyway, if you have a minute, get back to me on my email address. I look forward to hearing from you, "Tulsa Dave". I suppose I could be called "Talala Will". Thanks for the note.
