T/5 William W. Kruse
T/5 William W. Kruse is listed on the Walls of Missing of the Sicily Rome Cemetery in Nettuno, Italy. He was lost in or over Sicily in July 1943.

You took a picture of his cenotaph, the Wall of Missing listing his name, or any other picture or documentation. I would like to ask your permission to use that picture for my project about the temporary American GELA Cemetery in Sicily, where over 1,200 men and women were buried between July 1943 and April 1947. If his remains would have been found, he would have been buried at Gela.

I have my project available on a DVD, titled "They stayed behind".

Of course you will be credited

I perfectly understand that. We have some very huge cemeteries here and it would take me quite a long time to get them photographed and uploaded. I went to a smaller cemetery, and took all that my battery would allow me to, and still don't have them all uploaded. I haven't been out taking any lately as my genealogy has been keeping me busy at home.

Thanks for everything you have done for me and my ancestors. I know they would appreciate it. I do.
