|I originally became interested in genealogy in the 1970s, but have taken long breaks from working on it. Recently resumed. This seems like a way to help others and pay tribute to those who came before.|
Feel free to respectfully use photos I post on this site. Happy to transfer.

|John Glassford||your gravestone photo|
Would you get a chance, would you please take your gravestone photo on Find A Grave Memorial# 5493213 and put it also on Memorial# 5493208 .
|Bill McEvoy||Elise Lewis Belmont Cemetery|
Linda, I found a notice of Probate in July 3rd 1936, in the Belmont Citizen for Elise Marie Lewis. I believe that the picture and last name that added is correct for Howard and Elise--
|Sharon Kadlick||Ellen Martin 178809636|
Great catch Linda! For some reason I used the same name twice!
So there is:
1. Ellen Hartnett Martin Clifford #14326076 (1825-1895)
2. Ellen's daughter Ellen Martin #178809636 (1854-1854) (died as an infant).
Thank you for noticing that!!

Thanks for the suggestion regarding linking to the fatality pdf. I consciously chose to link to the more general site on which the fatality list may be found, as I feel the background history is of equal importance and I have placed all information from the fatality list (save particular mortuaries) on the memorials themselves. I appreciate your input.
|Sharon Kadlick||RE: Cashman|
I really don't know who the Bridget Causman/Cashman listed on the headstone is or how she may be related to John Martin.
John's wife Ellen is my g-g-grandmother. After John died, she married my g-g-grandfather.
But the other Cashman, might lead to a connection. Thanks, I'll have to look into it!
|Sharon Kadlick||RE: North Cambridge Catholic, John Martin|
Thanks for the thought about the Causman/Cashman name. Definitely helps explain why I have not been able to find any info on her!
Don't worry about the picture, I'll just make another request.
|Sharon Kadlick||John Martin headstone picture|
Back in 2014 you fulfilled my request for a close up picture of John Martin #14901367 and his wife Ellen Martin Clifford # 14326076, who are buried in North Cambridge Catholic Cemetery in North Cambridge.
Unfortunately, I still can't read some of the info on the headstone. I also can't find any messages we exchanged after you posted the picture, so I'm not sure if I have already asked you this or not, but did you happen to write down the inscription on the headstone? Or are you able to enlarge your original picture and still clearly read the writing on the headstone?
What I am trying to read is the word before Co. Cork. I am assuming it is the name of either the parish or town that he came from in Co. Cork.
As a last resort, would it be possible for you to revisit the cemetery and take another picture of the headstone or write down the inscription?
I would greatly appreciate it if you could do either, but also completely understand if you can't!!

Thanks Linda. Can you put your picture from here (121414438) over to the correct and original memorial (84078490) here? See Quincy vitals for proofs (Mass Deaths for 1845, and Mass Town for birth in Quincy in 1835). I'm asking In Search Of to correct the duplicate memorials. Cheers! Barry Gates (my wife is another Quincy Green line, Eben Sr., thanks for the photo over there too!!!!!!) :)
Thank you for the excellent photos of the tombstone of Mary Veazie Brackett.

Thanks for the photo of my great-uncle's headstone - George E Wright. Quick work.
