Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a Navy Vietnam Veteran. I served on the USS Yorktown CVS-10 (1967-68) and at Paris Island USMC Base(1969-70).

I am currently retired. In early 2013, I
started research on Ancestry.com and Find-a-Grave. I have learned a lot in this short time. I have made some exciting discoveries about my ancestors. I am willing to help others with photos and information.

I currently am working on Rodgers descendants of Harris County, Ga., Muscogee County, Ga., Camp Hill, Al. and Pike County, Al.

I am working on William Davis Ancestors from Pike County, AL and Muscogee County, Ga.

I am also working on the Lewis Family and the Thomas Family from Neshoba and Leake Counties of Mississippi, respectively.

I currently manage some non-relative sites. If you need to manage a relative's site, which I manage, please contact me. I will consider transfers management using the guidelines, but not necessarily to a strict interpretation of the guidelines. Please explain your family link with your request. I would prefer to manage the Davis, Rodgers, Lewis and Thomas memorials myself at this time.

If you have pictures or information on any of the memorials, to which, I have contributed, please let me know. Thanks, CBD

RE: Lodwick Herrin Alford (69585482)
I just today checked messages sent to me on Find A Grave...know I should have before..you are correct I am fairly new to Find A Grave...this was one of the first records I gave information. This was my husbands' grandfather so I had personal knowledge, but not the correct format at the time to add it. Grace has been granted to me, as I have just rechecked these postings and all is set up correctly. Thanks for your input...Nancy

Memorial Park in Memphis
Hello,

You have requested a grave photo at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis. This cemetery is quite large and without a plot location it is near impossible to just stumble upon a requested grave.
I am happy to try to fulfill your request though if you will contact the office and ask for the plot location.
Just let me know, or post the plot on the memorial and I will try to fulfill it in the near future
The office can be reached at (901) 767-8930

RE: Lt. Thomas Spearman Ingram
Hi,

I sent you the 1945 census that not only lists Thomas, but his brother William as well.

This file came from Family Search.

I am an Ingram descendant through John Ingram I and Frances Collier.

RE: Lewis Genealogy

CBD,

Thanks for your response. To my knowledge to date, all my relatives migrated from Randolph County North Carolina to Pickens County Alabama around 1822 and purchased land under the Land Treaty act of 1820. My ggg-grandfather, James Lewis born 1779 in Randolph Co. NC moved to Pickens Co. Al. where he purchased land in 1822. Pickens Co. borders Miss. and my gg-grandfather married a Margaret Fife who was from Miss. but other than that, I don't think any of my relatives lived in Mississippi. Like the old saying goes "The woods are full of them" and this applies especially to the Lewis families!

Rosemere Cemetery
Hello,

I served on board the USS English, DD-696 and also the USS America CVA-66 from 1969 to 1972, including a tour in VietNam.

The reason I'm writing is to ask you if you have any information as to who is buried in the grave above Ann Kenney in Rosemere

Cemetery, Lot 6; Plot 2. Michael Kenney was an uncle to my grandfather Earnest Robert Harrison. Michael raised Earnest in Opelika

after his mother Mary "Mollie" Harrison died during childbirth or shortly after. Mollie was listed in the 1880 census as living with

her uncle, keeping house in Opelika. Ann Harrison Kenney was Mollie's father's sister. I think Mollie Harrison maybe buried in that

gravesite above Ann Kenney in Rosemere Cemetery. Any information you could provide would be helpful

Thanks

Gary Lewis

John Tom Farmer
Thanks for the information. So was James Malcom Farmer the son of John Tom and Matilda (Chambers) Farmer? I know they had 2 daughters and a son, but I do not know his name. Their daughter, Clara (Farmer) Campbell was my grandmother's mother.

John Tom Farmer
I am the great great granddaughter of John Tom and Maltida Elizabeth Farmer. There is a John Malcolm Farmer that is also buried in their same plot. Do you know how he was related? Thank you.
