Photographs of Gravestones
If you check many of your postings in northern Lambton County, you'll note that I have placed quite a few photographs on some of the memorials you have posted, most recently West Bothwell Cemetery. If there are any photos you want taken for memorials posted in the cemeteries which are within a one hour drive from Sarnia, particularly north, east and south, feel free to inquire if I will be at any of the cemeteries and I will endeavor to get them for you. Also, in response to requests through Find_A_Grave, the photographs become yours, you own them and have copyright to them unless I otherwise advise to the contrary, which I have never done in the 6 years, 5 months and 21 days I have been a Find_A_Grave member.

RE: Christina Watson
I have been advised that the death records online only go up to 1938. What you should do next is locating the County of Lambton website online, find the County Archives section (the county offices are in Wyoming, Ontario) and see if they can help you confirm that Christina Watson is buried in Lambton County and where. I don't have any more resources at my disposal to assist you with your search. Good luck.

RE: Ida Watson Ranson
I rechecked West Bothwell on Saturday. I walked that entire cemetery from one end to the other and there is no sign of any Watson other than the one for Joseph Watson. I will check with the Canada Cemetery Project representative to see if she has any record of Christina Watson in the files she has access to.

Ida Watson Ranson

There is a listing for an Ida RANSOM, 1868-1949 at Ruthven Cemetery in Essex. It's IDA McKIBBEN RANSOM and not IDA WATSON RANSON and it's not RANSON but RANSOM. Is this the person you are looking for?

I can send you a copy of a photograph (protected by copyright) but I cannot attach it to Leave A Message and need you e-mail address to do so.

Please let me know.

RE: Christina Watson
I checked the St. Ignatius Cemetery Index in Bothwell and there is no listing of a WATSON there. I also checked Dresden Cemetery Index and found an Agnes E.WATSON McFadden, wife of Robert J. McFadden. When I am in West Bothwell Cemetery again, later this month, I'll take a second look for you because I found a number of gravestones that do not appear in the cemetery index so I want to make sure that the one you are looking for was not missed.

RE: Christina Watson
There is also another cemetery in Bothwell- St. Ignatius Cemetery. I'll check to see if she might be there and will let you know if I locate her. She might even be in Dresden Cemetery, just west of Bothwell on highway #2.
