I am addicted to genealogy. I have an extensive family tree on ancestry.com.|
I was thrilled when I found the find a grave site. It is a wealth of information and I add to it whenever I can. I was happy to recently add a family cem. to find a grave.
Whenever possible I am willing to photograph headstones/cemeteries. Due to health issues I am unable to walk too far.
I am very grateful to everyone who has photographed for me.
Currently I am advocating for restoration of an old cemetery.It is my hope that everyone will become more active in this area and save their town's cemeteries.

Yes, that makes us 6th cousins 1x removed! Nice to meet you. Are you going to the Lermond reunion in August? Actually, there are two of them taking place on the first & second weekend of the month? My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to communicate more directly. I would like to add you & your email address to the mailing list if you would like. Let me know.
Getting back to the memorial stone, was it a stone for the first settlers of the area?
|Peter Morgan||Alexander Lermond|
Thanks for taking a photo of the memorial stone containing the name of my 5th great grandfather. Since there were 3 Alexander Lermonds, I am wondering if there was anything on the memorial stone that indicated that this was the Alexander Lermond who died in 1790?

If you are related, I will transfer the memorials.

Ok, did a little digging. Here is the link to the find a grave page for Sawyer Cemetery and there is a picture. Maybe that will help. It says it is right next to Stirling Cemetery.
I got the information on her burial from a copy of her obit.

Even though the stone does not say Jane? OK - glad she is there for you :) I took several pictures - still loading them now for West Bristol Cemetery....there had been 22 people listed and now I have it over 150....and still adding
|Jessica Irish||Jane Davis Goudy|
Please look at the stone I have posted....if this is not correct - please let me know, but I went by dates and the fact that it said she was married to John....I know the name does not match, but did not want to make another entry if this is the correct person/stone to post....if it isn't - I will delete it.
You are welcome.
