i every rarely go to that cemetery due to the fact it is long subway travel for me. but i can ask the cemetery to get a photo of the stone they usually do it takes a while but it will get done.

Bruce, I walked the entire section where this grave is located and was unable to find the headstone. The section is quite large and very old with many headstones missing and not legible and/or fallen over. The office did confirm the burial in the old section. So sorry I was unsuccessful.

Hi had the cemetery main office, they run 9 cemeteries here in toronto and their Genealogy department does all the look ups and gets me maps to find the stones. But this one is in the wrong cemetery and the person managing it is inactive.
they sent me this:
PINE HILLS Cemetery - Veterans plot N – 67, we have Harry Stephen Murton, 86 yrs of age, DOD August 8, 1969. Dept. of Vets. Affairs took care of his funeral
is this the right person?
