I've been researching my family tree for many years, and my sister is the one who got me started (she did a high school project on genealogy). I decided to join Find A Grave as a contributor when I found a graveyard that was well off the beaten path, in the hopes of helping out some of the family members who didn't know the graves were there.My family is from the Marion County, South Carolina area and Columbus and Brunswick Counties in North Carolina. My in-laws are from Tennessee and eastern and northern North Carolina.
