|Anita||RE: Marie Pellerin Trahan edits|
The burial record for Marie Elisabeth Pellerin is either a different person or Marie died in Quebec. This is the only record that I was able to find on Ancestry and that is also linked to a number of family trees, even though those same trees placed Marie Pellerin's death and burial anywhere from Nova Scotia to Ile St Jean. Unfortunately, many people copy other family trees on Ancestry.com, etc. without verifying the information - spreading misinformation. This is also why I can't accept family trees from any website as sources...
The Drouin Collection that you referenced would show where she was buried, since the collection is photo copies of parish records - I wonder why it doesn't pull up on Ancestry.com though, since that is listed in the source. Do you have a copy of the record so you can look at it to make sure that the family tree on the "Web: Netherlands, GenealogieOnline Trees Index" isn't using the Marie Elisabeth Pellerin record as the source (as it was being used on Ancestry?
If the record for Marie Elisabeth Pellerin is really for this Marie Pellerin, that would mean she died in Quebec rather that Ile St Jean - it would have been too far to transport her body for burial at that time. She very well could have moved to Quebec to live with Jean though (he was living in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse), since her husband died five years prior to her death (Claude died at sea during the deportation).
Please look at the record that you've referenced on Ancestry and verify the death place or that Marie Elisabeth Pellerin is the correct record for this Marie...

I have found her listed on the 1701 Port Royal census (when she was 2 years old), so agree that she was probably born in Port Royal.
I have been unable to find any record of her death. Family trees on both Ancestry.com and FamilySearch.com have her dying anywhere from Nova Scotia to Isle St Jean. Some are using a source for a Marie Elisabeth Pellerin who died and was buried in St-Mathieu, Bellechasse, Québec (regardless of the death place they have listed in their trees).
If you have a record of her death, please let me know what it is so that I can add that to her memorial and give you credit for the information.
If you were basing her death place on her husband's please change your edit and remove the death edit portion, so that I can accept the birth place. You can do this by going to your "Edits" tab and selecting "Edits that I have sent that are pending" and deleting the edit. Then you can just resubmit for the birth portion.
Thanks for your help,

I've attached a photo of a plaque on the Église de la Ste-Trinité in La Chaussee, Departement de la Vienne, Poitou-Charentes, France. She was baptized here two days after her birth. Her parents were also married in La Chausee at this same church, as this is where they lived. So I won't be able to accept your edit changing her birth place to Loudun. Also on the edit you were changing her death date from unknown to 1686. Please provide a source for the death date and resubmit that portion as a new edit. If you don't have a death or burial record for her, please just let me know why you feel her death date is 1686 and I will be happy to add that info into her bio and give you credit for the info.

You are welcome. Did you notice the spelling of his last name on his marker? It indicates McRae not MacRae.

I have made the transfer. If you would use the edit tab and the "suggest a Correction" option on the drop-down menu. it makes it easier for the person making the transfer, as it links your request directly to the page you are wanting to be transferred.

It just made sense to me to transfer them to you "to reunite" family!
