My mother has two brothers, who are twins. Richard Morphis and James Morphis. My father has two brothers and a sister. Clarence Moen, Bennet Moen and Marie Todahl.

Are you related to any of these folks? If so, you're my relative too, and I'd like to hear from you.

I was raised in Spokane, Washington and Idaho Falls, Idaho. I moved to Desert Hot Springs, California when I was 20 years old, and have been here ever since.

During High School I attended Spokane Junior Academy for my Freshman and Sophmore years, 1973-1975. I attended North Central High School for my Junior and Senior years, 1975-1977. I have many friends that attended Upper Columbia Academy during those years.

I attended one year at Eastern Washington University, and finished my Associate Degree in Marketing at Eastern Idaho Technical College.

In my 34 years in Desert Hot Springs I have had the privilege to serve on several boards and commissions. I sincerely hope that I've made a contribution to my town.

Thanks for reading, I hope you receive a very nice blessing from God.

I saw your post on my Grandfather, was just curious if you knew my grandfather who was from palm springs. I was curious where you got your info for his memorial. Sally mcgrath

John Rodkey # 91361834

The memorial for John Rodkey that you left flowers on is a duplicate. If you add your flowers to this older memorial which needs the cemetery added I will delete mine and then we do not have to have find a grave combine them. I found it when adding the Obit you sent which is actually on the other one. thank You for your contribution.

mine where your comment is

Thank You Rosalie

RE: Earl John Godfrey
Hi Tom,
Great to hear from you. Isn't this information age fascinating? Earl Godfrey was married to Marie Catherine Koester, your Grandaunt. Marie's oldest sister, Marguerite Koester, married Victor Joseph Laurent in Ellensburg, WA on 1-20-1904. Victor Joseph's sister, Sophia "Sophie" Mary Laurent, was my Grandmother who died before I was born. She married Obadiah "Hub" Cusworth 2-17-1898 in Roslyn, WA where my father was born. So yes, we are distantly related.
I have added your Uncle Earl's Parents to his Findagrave memorial as you have requested. When I get more time I'll be able to update my genealogy program with the information you have given me. It will probably be a while, because I generally work on genealogy in the winter when I don't have a lot of other things to do. I'll probably get back to you at a later time to pick your brain for more information. In the meantime enjoy, and thank you for your input.

RE: Fristad, Lester and Dale
Thomas, you are very kind. I appreciate your kind words. It is comments like yours that make it all worthwhile. The transfers have been made. I know that you will take good care of them for me.

I too began my trek with Find A Grave when I found my grandfather's memorial while searching for other information on him. I was unable to meet him because he died when my dad was 2 years old. For that reason, I decided to help others locate their family.

We are in Wyoming as I type preparing to visit the Douglas Park Cemetery in Douglas, Wyoming. My grandfather and several great aunts and uncles are buried there. I would not have known this if it weren't for Find A Grave.
