RE: Coons and Whitesides Families
Henderson died in Monterey, Mexico during the Mexican War, and his brother Francis married his widow. All of Mary (Nay) Jett's children are by Henderson, except her youngest Sallie (Jett) Whitesides, who is my great-great-grandmother.

If you search my memorials you'll find one for the lady in question. Look for the one for Elizabeth Ann Coons Jett.

RE: Guyton and Whitesides Families
They are daughters of John Coons, Jr., who married his first cousin Anne Coons on Aug. 22, 1792 in Culpeper Co., Virginia. John Jr. died in his father's lifetime, a son of John Coons, Esq. (1742-1839) and Elizabeth Button. John Jr.'s wife Anne was a daughter of Jacob Coons and Elizabeth Hanback. John Jr.'s son Daniel Coons married Leah Guyton in 1817 in what was then Henry Co. (present-day Oldham Co.), Kentucky.

I have a copy of that deed of partition as well as John Coons' will. I have identified everyone's relationship in it (if I remember correctly). That file is in a cabinet stored away so give me a day or two to get my hands on it. Also the Whitesides of Oldham County have all been identified and connected. I'll get back to you in a day or so.

RE: Walden's in Floysburg Cemetery
Thanks I will look, I noted you had Catherine Webb under Waldon.

I will look again at home, my work computer is acting up so I could be seeing things.

I can definitely answer any questions you might have on the Whitesides and Coons families. I began researching their history over thirty years ago.
