I have been researching my family for many many years. A little over a year ago I stumbled across Find A Grave and have been volunteering ever since.

A number of years ago I become disabled and became unable to work however, I still needed to feel fulfilled and accomplished. Volunteering to take pictures of graves and investigate plot locations for family and friends of those who have past has given me an inner feeling of accomplishment. I have found that fulfilling picture requests not only brings happiness to the family and/or friend but brings me a happiness that I can't put into words.

As many other volunteers have stated, any picture that I have taken can be used by family and friends without requesting permission.
