RE: TRANSFER Memorials request
All 8 Work memorials that I created have been transferred to you Dana. The 8 memorials that I created did not duplicate any other memorials at the Washington Cemetery. If you would like me to remove any photo's that I placed on these memorials, please let me know and I will remove them. If I can be of any further help to you in finding or photographing any markers at the Washington Cemetery, please don't hesitate to ask.

RE: Photo request for Lester Work in Washington Cemetery
My pleasure, Dana. When you are able to log into Find A Grave, I want to add that I also created memorials with photo for J. Calvin, Ora Pearl, S. Clinton, Glenna G., James E., Harry A., Samuel C., and Annie D Work. All of these Work's were on the one and only Work stone in Lot 4 of Section M (Lot where Lester Work is buried with no marker).

Photo request for Lester Work in Washington Cemetery
I am sorry to advise you that there is no marker in Lot 4 of Section M of the Washington Cemetery for Lester Work. However, I will use a photo that shows the space around the existing Work marker in Lot 4 to fulfill your photo request. There will be a descriptive caption with the photo (need to click on the photo to see the caption). If you are not satisfied with the photo, please let me know and I will remove it.

RE: George M. Thompson
If you give me your e-mail address I will send you some photos of the Thompson's and I also have a few reunion pictures from the late 60's. They were taken at the Stone Pavilion in Washington Park Washington,Pa. Also i'm still not sure about the native American angle. Our Grt. Grt. Grandfather was Samuel F.(Sonny) Thompson B:1835 D:1920. He had 2 wives that I know of and they were 1st one Sarah Ellen McBee 1838 to 1878, they married May 30, 1855 and the 2nd is Elisabeth Boher Hobday 1850 to 1916, they married in Nov. 9 1881.

RE: George M. Thompson
Dana thanks for getting back to me so soon. Gloria Alice Miller Dawkins is the daughter of Anna Ellen Thompson Miller who is my Paternal Grandmother. You can call me anytime 725-746-1009 or on my cell 724-255-1980. I hate to burst your bubble but the picture of Anna and Harry is not right. If you give me your e-mail I will send what ever Pictures I have to you.
Do you have an Ancestry.com account? I've been searching there for a long time and if you want to look up some stuff that is free try searching on Familysearch.org. I found a lot of birth and death registers for the Thompson family.
I would be really interested on the documentation of the Cherokee stuff you have even a name of the Native American Princess he married. Thank You so much.

George M. Thompson
Hello Dana, My name is Karon Dawkins Turney and Jacob Samuel Thompson is my Grt. Grandfather. And George would of been my Grt. Uncle George, so I guess we are related. In your Memorial for George you had mentioned that Jacob Samuel was married to an Indian Princess. There have been rumors on my side of the family about Native American blood running thru our veins, but doing my ancestry searches I have not see any that bit of info yet.
I did submit my DNA about 2 weeks ago so I may find out about that soon. If you have some info on that please e-mail me @ rkturney@comcast.net. Here is my family line Karon Dawkins Turney-Gloria Alice Dawkins Miller- Anna Ellen Thompson Miller-Jacob Samuel Thompson married to Emily Alice Tedrick she passed away in 1899 then he married Sarah (Sallie) Bayer sometimes her name is spelled Bear and Baer. But in most of the records I came across it was spelled Bayer. Her father is Robert and mother is Angeline Johnson.
Your Memorials are wonderful. Also I wanted to add some of the Pictures you have posted only with your permission. Thank you Karon

Thank you,
