RE: duplicate photos
This is directly from's help information... straight up copy and paste.. so if anybody is deleting your photos.. they must have your log in information:

How do I delete a photo?
In order to delete a photo you have added to a memorial, you first must make sure you are logged in. Next, go to the person's memorial for whom you added the photo. Click on the photo you have added and on the page that comes up there will be a button above the photo that says, "Delete." Click that button to delete the photo.
If you want to delete a photo left by someone else, you will need to contact the individual who added it and ask them to remove it. If you want to delete a photo you have added to a cemetery page, please email a link to the cemetery page and a description of the photo to delete to us.

RE: duplicate photos
I have not deleted any photos. I love photos and want as may photos per memorial as possible. I love the story the photos tell... lots of information. I personally thought that the only person that can delete a photo is the person that posted it. Back when I started I created my Dad's memorial and somebody posted a bad picture to his memorial. I did try to delete that one because the quality was very bad but I could not. I have never tried again. I don't know how you would think that. I always photo Rest Haven Rockwall once a week. My Dad is buried there and I feel very close to him up there and I like to spend as much time as possible up there, so I started documenting the whole cemeteries almost 16 months ago or so. I have some 400 hours or so on that cemetery. I sometimes hit Rockwall Memorial, Garland Memorial, and Garland Mills are my big ones. Seriously, I have never deleted a photo. I wish there were more of us tried to share this information with the world.
