I'm sure you've probably already done this, but have you tried searching in ancestry memeber websites? Old newspapers (especially from her hometown), or even google images?

What a heart-wrenching thing to learn after all these years. I too have placed a flower on her memorial.
I wish I could be optimistic about the governments seeing the war picture as the rest of us do, but I think we all know where the government's priorities lie - it's all about power and greed, not people.

I went back to Jane Arlene Empson's grave and connected her to her parents Kenneth and Sarah Empson. I also left a flower on her page a "forget me not" in token of the note you sent me. So sorry it took you so long to find out what happened to her but I appreciate your taking the time to let me know that my cemetery photography helps others to find their relatives or lost ones. She was indeed a Vietnem Vet.
